Comments for the authors:
The author has responded
substantively to all six points raised in the first review. The addition of a
dedicated Methodology section significantly strengthens the paper’s
transparency regarding positionality, case selection rationale, and evidentiary
limitations. The synthesis table is a genuine improvement — it organises the
four cases clearly and makes the pedagogical mapping legible at a glance.
Language revision across the abstract, introduction, and conclusion has brought
the manuscript to a consistently appropriate academic register.
Two minor observations for the
author’s consideration, neither requiring further revision: the concluding
paragraph of Section 7b still carries a slight prescriptive edge (“The field
has the tools. It needs to make supervision literacy a graduation requirement”)
that reads as advocacy rather than recommendation — this is a stylistic note
only. Additionally, one reference appears to have been added during revision
(Davies et al., 2025) but is not cited in the body text; the author may wish to
verify this.
The manuscript makes a clear and
well-positioned contribution to the GMH pedagogical literature. The
system-embedded pedagogy framework is practically grounded and theoretically
coherent. Publication is recommended.
