Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit their work to this journal. An editor will initially assess all submissions to determine whether they meet the journal's aims and scope. Those considered a good fit will be sent to the technical check after the TPC is paid (please read our Submission Guidelines if you have not done so already).

The authors will be informed of the technical check results (language, presence of all structure elements, formatting, and other issues). After the improvements (if any are needed), the APC invoices will be sent to the author.

Please refer to the relevant section on the website for the TPC/APC and waiver policy. Note that a 100% TPC/APC waiver is active during the establishment period for the first 10 articles submitted.

As for the first 10 articles published, we do not charge the TPC/APC - we ask each of the authors of the submitted article to make a peer review of at least two other articles in the journal. To do so, in your Dashboard, select, in addition to the role "Author", the role "Reviewer". By doing so, you will appear in the internal list of reviewers and will be visible to the editorial team.

After the APC transfer (or waiver), the article will be sent to the journal's Open Peer Review section and made available in Open Access, with the DOI assigned and ready to be cited.

However, before the Open Peer Review process is complete, the article's citation will include reference {under peer-review}. After the Open Peer Review process, the reference {under peer-review} will be changed to the {peer-reviewed}. The article's DOI will remain the same; all the versions of the article will be preserved and present on the article's page.

The Open Peer Review process is completed if at least 2 (two) peer reviewers approve the article / approve with reservations. If 2 (two) peer reviewers decline the article, the article will remain at the website in the Declined page, and with the citation that includes reference {peer-review: declined}; otherwise, it can be unpublished, if the author is willing to do so, and resubmitted after all the imrovemenents recommended by the reviewers and editor.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents, and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to being identified as authors. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure the study design and research argument are appropriately structured and articulated. The title should be concise, and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.
